How important it is, at times, to pause and ask yourself: where am I now, and is this season perhaps coming to an end? We are not able to stop time or repeat what has already happened, because even the next summer will never be the same. It may be colder or warmer; we may encounter unexpected conditions.
Perhaps I would like to return to the flow — and then, when strength returns, bloom once again. How important it is to catch the right rhythm and make peace with yourself. This is something we still have to learn from nature.
Am I moving with the flow of time,
or wandering barefoot across already
P.S. Even in the coldest winter, warm days still happen.
Nature and human life are perhaps even closer than we tend to realize, they’re cyclical. The crises we go through are also just part of movment. Imagine if we experienced happiness and joy in order to face disappointment, pain, and emptiness. Looking from this perspective, it becomes possible to change how we relate to difficult moments. We move through this period of withering before returning to bloom again. Of course, this is not the end of the circle — another turn will follow, and then another. This thought helps me a lot: when I am going through pain or despair, I remind myself that it will not last forever. No emotion can be endless. After passing through ice, we inevitably thaw.
